Wellness, not medical. cortiSense and gSense are consumer wellness and lifestyle products. They are not medical devices and do not diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Readings are estimates for general wellness reference and are not a substitute for professional medical advice.
This Privacy Policy explains how Nutrix AG handles the personal information of users in Japan, in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) and the rules and guidelines of the Personal Information Protection Commission (PPC).
1.Introduction
Nutrix AG ("Nutrix", "we", "us") is a Swiss company that provides cortiSense, a salivary cortisol biosensor, together with the gSense application ("gSense", the "App"). In Japan, gSense provides three features: visualization of your cortiSense readings, a wellness AI coach, and mood tracking. cortiSense and gSense are a wellness and lifestyle product, not a medical device, and your readings are not medical results. If you have a health concern, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect from users in Japan, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, who can access it, and the rights you have. "You" and "user" mean any individual in Japan who accesses or uses the App.
2.Scope
This Policy applies to personal information that we collect and handle in connection with cortiSense and the gSense App offered in Japan. It does not cover any other Nutrix products or services, and it does not cover third-party websites or services that the App may link to.
3.The personal information we collect and our purpose of use
We collect only the information needed for the features above, and we use each category only for the specific purposes stated. We will not use your information beyond these purposes without first obtaining your consent or otherwise complying with the APPI.
- Account and identification data (name, email address, login credentials, and, if you provide them, date of birth and sex). Purpose: to create and manage your account, authenticate you across your devices, and respond to your enquiries.
- cortiSense readings (salivary cortisol measurements and their timestamps). Purpose: to display and visualize your readings in the App, and to power the wellness AI coach and mood-tracking features you choose to use.
- Mood entries (the mood and wellness inputs you record). Purpose: to provide mood tracking and to give you wellness suggestions through the AI coach.
- AI coach interaction data (the questions, inputs, and feedback you provide to the wellness AI coach). Purpose: to generate wellness suggestions and to operate and maintain the AI coach feature. See section 6 for how the AI coach uses your data.
- Device and usage data (device identifiers, app version, log and diagnostic data). Purpose: to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the App.
- Website analytics data collected at nutrix.tech, gSense.club, and corti-sense.com. Purpose: to compile aggregate usage statistics to improve our services. See section 10.
Providing this information is voluntary. If you choose not to provide cortisol readings or mood entries, the related App features may be limited or unavailable.
4.How your information is shared
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for the marketing purposes of any third party. We may share your personal information only in the following cases:
- with service providers and Nutrix group companies that operate, host, secure, or support the App on our behalf, and only for the purposes described in this Policy. These recipients are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations. Where any such recipient is located outside Japan, section 5 applies;
- when required by a competent authority or by law;
- to protect the security and integrity of the App and our systems; or
- in connection with a sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution, or similar event, subject to this Policy.
5.Data location and access from outside Japan
Your personal information is stored on servers located in Japan.
Your information is handled by Nutrix AG in Switzerland, the operator responsible for the App, and by Nutrix Poland Sp. z o.o., a wholly owned subsidiary of Nutrix AG located in Poland (European Union), which provides engineering, operation, and support services on our behalf as our processor. Both access your information only to run and support the App and for the purposes set out in section 3.
Nutrix Poland handles your information under a data processing agreement that requires it to apply the protections required by the APPI. Poland is in the European Union, which Japan recognizes as providing a level of personal information protection equivalent to its own. You can obtain a current summary of these arrangements in the App or on request using the contact in section 14.
6.The wellness AI coach and AI processing
The wellness AI coach uses your cortiSense readings, mood entries, and the inputs you give it to generate personalized wellness suggestions and to operate the feature.
We do not use your personal information to train or develop our AI models. The coach generates its suggestions from a curated wellness knowledge base, and your information is used only to personalize those suggestions for you.
7.Retention and deletion
We retain each category of personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes in section 3, and then delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time using the contact in section 14, and we will delete it permanently in accordance with the APPI, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.
8.Children
The App is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a minor without the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and for users under 16 we obtain the consent of a person with parental authority. A guardian who provides consent agrees to this Policy on the minor's behalf and undertakes to consider the minor's views in line with the minor's best interests.
9.Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure, and we store it in a secure environment. Our information security management system is certified to the ISO/IEC 27001 standard. Communications between the App and our servers are encrypted using HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to handle any incident responsibly.
10.Cookies, identifiers, and external transmission
Our websites at nutrix.tech, gSense.club, and corti-sense.com may use cookies and similar technologies to record information such as pages viewed, IP address, and browser type, in order to compile aggregate usage statistics. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies. Where the App or our websites transmit information about you to external parties through such technologies, we disclose the relevant information in accordance with Japanese law, including the external transmission rules under the Telecommunications Business Act.
11.Breach notification
If a reportable leak, loss, or damage of personal data occurs, we will report it to the PPC and notify affected individuals as required by the APPI.
12.Your rights and how to exercise them
Under the APPI you may request, with respect to your retained personal data, that we: disclose it to you; disclose records of its provision to third parties; correct, add to, or delete it if it is inaccurate; and suspend its use or erase it, or stop providing it to third parties, in the cases permitted by law.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will verify your identity and respond without undue delay. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission.
13.Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as our services, technology, or applicable law change. We will notify users of material changes and, where required by law, notify the relevant authority. The current version is always available in the App and on our website.

15.Governing law and jurisdiction
This Policy is governed by the laws of Japan, and any dispute relating to it is subject to the jurisdiction of the Japanese courts.

gSense and cortiSense are trademarks of Nutrix. All other product and brand names referenced are the property of their respective owners.

本プライバシーポリシーは、Nutrix AGが日本のユーザーの個人情報を、日本の「個人情報の保護に関する法律」（個人情報保護法）および個人情報保護委員会（委員会）の規則・ガイドラインに従って取り扱う方法について説明するものです。
1.はじめに
Nutrix AG（以下「Nutrix」または「当社」）は、唾液中コルチゾールのバイオセンサー「cortiSense」および「gSense」アプリケーション（以下「gSense」または「本アプリ」）を提供するスイスの企業です。日本において、gSenseは次の3つの機能を提供します。cortiSense測定値の可視化、ウェルネスAIコーチ、および気分（ムード）記録です。cortiSenseおよびgSenseは、ウェルネスおよびライフスタイルのための製品であり、医療機器ではなく、測定値は医療上の検査結果ではありません。健康上の懸念がある場合は、医療専門家にご相談ください。
本プライバシーポリシーは、当社が日本のユーザーから取得する個人情報の種類、取得の目的、利用および保護の方法、アクセスできる者、ならびにお客様の権利について説明するものです。「お客様」および「ユーザー」とは、日本において本アプリにアクセスまたは利用する個人をいいます。
2.適用範囲
本ポリシーは、日本で提供されるcortiSenseおよびgSenseに関連して当社が取得・取り扱う個人情報に適用されます。当社のその他の製品・サービス、および本アプリがリンクする第三者のウェブサイト・サービスには適用されません。
3.取得する個人情報と利用目的
当社は上記機能に必要な情報のみを取得し、各情報を記載された目的のためにのみ利用します。お客様の同意を得た場合等、個人情報保護法に従う場合を除き、これらの目的を超えて利用することはありません。
- アカウント・本人確認情報（氏名、メールアドレス、ログイン認証情報、ならびにお客様が任意で提供する場合は生年月日および性別）。利用目的：アカウントの作成・管理、複数端末での本人認証、お問い合わせへの対応のため。
- cortiSense測定値（唾液中コルチゾールの測定値およびその日時）。利用目的：本アプリでの測定値の表示・可視化、ならびにお客様が利用するウェルネスAIコーチおよび気分記録機能の提供のため。
- 気分記録（お客様が記録する気分・ウェルネスの入力情報）。利用目的：気分記録機能の提供、およびAIコーチを通じたウェルネス提案のため。
- AIコーチ利用情報（ウェルネスAIコーチへの質問、入力、フィードバック）。利用目的：ウェルネス提案の生成、ならびにAIコーチ機能の運用・維持のため。AIコーチによるデータ利用については第6条をご参照ください。
- 端末・利用情報（端末識別子、アプリのバージョン、ログおよび診断データ）。利用目的：本アプリの運用、セキュリティ確保、不具合対応および改善のため。
- ウェブサイト分析情報（nutrix.tech、gSense.club および corti-sense.com で取得）。利用目的：サービス改善のための統計的な利用状況の集計のため。第10条をご参照ください。
これらの情報の提供は任意です。コルチゾール測定値または気分記録を提供しない場合、関連する機能が制限され、または利用できないことがあります。
4.情報の共有
当社は、お客様の個人情報を販売せず、第三者のマーケティング目的で共有しません。次の場合に限り、個人情報を共有することがあります。
- 当社に代わって本アプリを運用、ホスティング、保護またはサポートするサービス提供者およびNutrixグループ会社に対し、本ポリシーに記載された目的のためにのみ共有する場合。これらの受領者は守秘義務およびデータ保護義務を負います。当該受領者が日本国外に所在する場合は第5条が適用されます。
- 権限を有する当局または法令により求められる場合。
- 本アプリおよび当社システムの安全性・完全性を保護するため。
- 当社の売却、合併、組織再編、解散その他これに類する事象に関連する場合（本ポリシーに従います）。
5.データの取扱場所と日本国外からのアクセス
お客様の個人情報は、日本国内に所在するサーバーに保管されます。
お客様の情報は、本アプリの運用責任を負う事業者であるスイスのNutrix AG、ならびにNutrix AGの完全子会社であり、当社の委託先（処理者）としてエンジニアリング・運用・サポート業務を提供するポーランド（欧州連合）のNutrix Poland Sp. z o.o.により取り扱われます。いずれも、本アプリの運用・サポートおよび第3条に定める目的のためにのみお客様の情報にアクセスします。
Nutrix Polandは、個人情報保護法が求める保護を適用する義務を定めたデータ処理（委託）契約に基づき、お客様の情報を取り扱います。ポーランドは欧州連合に属し、EUは日本と同等の個人情報保護の水準を有すると認められています。これらの取決めの最新の概要は、本アプリ内、または第14条の連絡先を通じたご請求により入手できます。
6.ウェルネスAIコーチおよびAIによる処理
ウェルネスAIコーチは、お客様のcortiSense測定値、気分記録、およびお客様が入力する情報を用いて、個別のウェルネス提案を生成し、機能を運用します。
当社は、お客様の個人情報をAIモデルの学習・開発に利用しません。AIコーチは、整備されたウェルネスのナレッジベースに基づいて提案を生成し、お客様の情報は当該提案をお客様向けに個別化する目的にのみ利用されます。
7.保存および削除
当社は、各種別の個人情報を第3条の目的に必要な期間に限り保存し、その後は削除または匿名化します。お客様は第14条の連絡先を通じて、いつでもアカウントおよび関連データの削除を請求できます。当社は法令により一定の記録の保存を求められる場合を除き、個人情報保護法に従い恒久的に削除します。
8.未成年者
本アプリは子どもを対象としていません。当社は、親権者または法定代理人の同意なく未成年者の個人情報を故意に取得しません。16歳未満のユーザーについては、親権を行う者の同意を取得します。同意を行う保護者は、未成年者に代わって本ポリシーに同意し、未成年者の最善の利益に沿ってその意見を考慮することを約束するものとします。
9.安全管理
当社は、お客様の個人情報を、紛失、不正利用ならびに不正なアクセス、改ざんおよび漏えいから保護するため、技術的・組織的な安全管理措置を講じ、安全な環境で保管します。当社の情報セキュリティマネジメントシステムは、ISO/IEC 27001の認証を取得しています。本アプリと当社サーバー間の通信はHTTPSにより暗号化されます。完全に安全な送信・保管の方法は存在しませんが、当社は情報の保護および万一の事案への適切な対応に努めます。
10.クッキー、識別子および外部送信
当社のウェブサイト（nutrix.tech、gSense.club および corti-sense.com）は、閲覧ページ、IPアドレス、ブラウザの種類等の情報を記録し、統計的な利用状況を集計するために、クッキーおよび類似技術を利用することがあります。お客様はブラウザの設定によりクッキーを拒否できます。本アプリまたは当社ウェブサイトがこれらの技術を通じてお客様に関する情報を外部に送信する場合、当社は電気通信事業法の外部送信規律を含む日本の法令に従い、関連情報を開示します。
11.漏えい等の通知
報告対象となる個人データの漏えい、滅失または毀損が生じた場合、当社は個人情報保護法に従い、委員会に報告し、影響を受ける本人に通知します。
12.お客様の権利と行使方法
個人情報保護法に基づき、お客様は保有個人データについて、当社に対し、開示、第三者提供記録の開示、内容が事実でない場合の訂正・追加・削除、ならびに法令で認められる場合の利用停止・消去または第三者提供の停止を請求できます。
これらの権利を行使するには、 [email protected]までご連絡ください。当社は本人確認のうえ、遅滞なく対応します。お客様は、個人情報保護委員会に対して苦情を申し立てる権利も有します。
13.本ポリシーの変更
当社は、サービス、技術または適用法令の変更に応じて本ポリシーを改定することがあります。重要な変更についてはユーザーに通知し、法令により求められる場合は関係当局に通知します。最新版は常に本アプリおよび当社ウェブサイトで確認できます。
14.取扱事業者および連絡先
お客様の個人情報の取扱いについて責任を負う事業者は、Nutrix AGです。プライバシーに関するお問い合わせおよび権利行使は、以下の連絡先までご連絡ください。
15.準拠法および管轄
本ポリシーは日本法に準拠し、本ポリシーに関する紛争は日本の裁判所の管轄に服します。
16.商標
gSenseおよびcortiSenseはNutrixの商標です。記載されたその他の製品名・ブランド名は、それぞれの権利者に帰属します。
